"Zoe"
12/7/98-9/17/07

Zoe was one of the sweetest dogs and truly enriched our lives. She was a typical wild weim puppy with so much energy we nicknamed her the Zo-minator. She could not be trusted and even under supervision caused lots of household and wardrobe, especially pocket, damage, lol! She excelled at counter surfing and only respected the Invisible Fence disk on the counter. Like many weims, she loved nooking on her blankie. Zoe was also the kissiest of dogs and would literally knock you over with her teeth-baring grin and then kiss you so hard we'd occasionally have cuts on our noses and lips. She matured to be a really nice dog. She was used for temperment testing other dogs at obedience school and was asked to be part of an obedience program for autistic children that was to begin this fall.

Note: Last April, Zoe appeared in a Target commercial that aired nationally. Click here to see the commercial.
She was a stylish hunter and held her own at hunt tests against GSPs and other breeds. She was a talented agility dog and if not for her handler, probably would have Mach'd years ago. This Spring, she got two legs towards her AXJ with first places. Zoe taught me so much about training when at the age of six, I decided to begin training her for competitive obedience. She finished her CD easily with a 1st and 2nd place at all-breed trials and we embarked on training and competing for her CDX. Nothing was ever easy, but once she got it, it stuck. Her main problem was she was mommy's girl and even when we passed all the individual exercises, the dreaded out of sights NQ'd us.
Zoe touched the lives of many and all who knew her will truly miss her.
Goodbye my Zo-Zo....
